TRAINING LIVERY
Anna Brown Dressage offers a high class – fully insured – training livery service for short or long term liveries.
Anna has many years of experience training young horses and ponies from just broken. This puts her in a good position to help improve a horse’s way of going and help resolve any ongoing schooling issues. Equally if you and your horse are moving up a level or struggling with a particular movement, a spell with a professional rider like Anna can be extremely beneficial to consolidate the new exercise in training so it is then more straightforward for the owner to achieve afterwards.
Anna is small and lightweight so ponies are also very welcome!
The horses are treated very much as individuals and are kept and trained in a stress free environment with a calm and patient approach.
If you’re unable to come regularly to see your horse being trained we will send you regular updates and videos.
TRAINING YARD
The yard is small and quiet situated near Shrewsbury in rural North Shropshire. We have excellent facilities: fourteen loose boxes with adjoining indoor school with mirrors and a secure tack room.
There is also a outdoor school with a new Charles Britton surface, round pen and sand and grass paddocks.
TUITION
Anna enjoys giving tuition to riders of all levels. She is sympathetic and approachable but still tries to push the pupil to improve their horses way of going and level of training.
She has a thorough knowledge of the German scales of training and incorporates this in an easy to understand and logical way into her her teaching.
